UPDATED 2018 OPBA BAT RULE:
T-ball - Midget divisions
All bats shall not be more than 33 inches in length and the barrel shall not exceed 2 ¼ inches. Metal,composite, and wood bats are allowed.
USSSA bats must be stamped with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less AND any USA type bat with a 2-1/4 barrel or less is approved for use.
No bat shall be larger than 2-5/8 inches in diameter or 34 inches in length.
Big Barrel Bats, defined as having a barrel size of 2-1/2 inches and up to 2-5/8 can be used, but must have a 'drop' of no larger than '-8'.
(i.e. Drop 9, drop 10, drop 11, etc will not be allowed)
There is no drop limit on bats that have a 2-1/4 inch barrel size.
All woods bats up to 2-5/8 inches are permitted with no restrictions.
Non-wood bats must be stamped with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less

All Fastpitch softball bats must have a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter and must not be over 34 inches in length and 31 1/2 oz in weight.
Bats must be marked with the ASA Certified 2004 stamp. These Fastpitch bats should perform within the limits of the 98 mph batted ball speed standard. Bats can be made from aluminum or other metals; fiberglass, graphite or other composite material; or wood. Bats can be made from one or multiple pieces.
