Trevor Heinlein is heading to the NJCAA Division III College World Series!

Trevor Heinlein, currently a player for the Division III Oakton Owls, started his baseball career in the OPBA Tball program back in April 2002.  He came up through the ranks and after just one year of PW ball decided it was time to join the traveling league and went onto the Windy City Travelers.  There he became part of a very close baseball family.  This team played together for 6 years before graduating 8th grade and moving onto high school baseball at St Patrick High School.  Between traveling and high school ball he earned many awards including Offensive Player of the year (3 times), Defensive Player of the year (2 times) and All Conference.  Trevor red shirted his first year in college and now has had his first amazing year of college baseball with the Oakton Owls.  The team's accomplishments this year are the first in the history of the school.  Not only did their coach get Coach of the Year but as a team they have won the Regional IV title, District B title and now they are moving onto the NJCAA Division III College World Series in Greeneville, TN.  We are so proud of Trevor and all he has accomplished.  He is the perfect example of the skills he obtained by the great leadership and coaching that came from the OPBA organization.  Please join us in supporting Trevor and his family as they continue their journey through the baseball ranks- Good Luck to Trevor and the Oakton Owls and thank you for continuing to represent the OPBA with pride!
